Supported by Creative Communities, Christchurch City Council and the Lion Foundation, the Canterbury Short Film Festival returns to the Garden City on July 7, 8, 9 and 10 with a collection of exciting new works by emergent film-makers! This year we introduce our international section, two nights of international shorts and animations on 8 and 9 July, with our regular KIWI short works opening and closing the 7th year of the festival on July 7 and 10. Live music opens the show each night at 7.15pm, with films begining at 7.45pm, the show runs for 70 minutes each night. A seminar on experimental film and its influence on mainstream cinematic styles is on 9 July at 6pm, and all of this at the Christchurch Art Gallery Auditorium.
