The sixth year of the Short Film Festival was split between the traditional kiwi short film offerings and the new Urbis Animax international animation programme. The event was held over four nights between 16 July and 19 July 2007.

July 16 @ CHCH Art Gallery (7.30pm)

Fumpston Works - 9m Justine Flanagan - Documentary An exploration of the concepts and processes behind the vibrant images of the one of New Zealand’s leading print makers. Taupiri - 2m 38s S J Ramir - Experimental A visual kaleidoscope of a lone cabbage tree sitting amongst the grave stones of Taupiri Mountain, Waikato. Ralphie - 11m 25s Rachel Neems - Comedy A dad comes under pressure to make good for his daughter. Total running time approx 69 minutes
