Belladonna from time to time stages a series of short courses for those who wish to obtain some
basic skills to help them in their video and film production
work. These are informal, introductory courses; the dates
are preliminary, subject to confirmation with tutors. The
courses will run with five or more students and will cost
$110+GST per course. The weekend courses are single day, while the weeknight courses
are spread two week at two nights per week (appx 90 mins each
night).

WEEK NIGHT FOUNDATION COURSE
General introduction course Saturday (7.00pm until 8.30pm
each night) which aims to cover the basics of video production
in brevity; the production phase of camera/lights/sound and
post-production editing/DVD creation. |

Basic course covering editing theory, DV capture, introduction
to Final Cut Pro (and overview of Adobe Premiere and Avid
Xpress Pro), also covers DVD Studio Pro and outputting projects
to DVD format for distribution. |

Basic course covering camera operation, composition, lighting
and pointers on how to push your domestic or pro-sumer camera
a step further. Also covers sound production. |

Basic Course focused on best methods for managing small to
medium budget project effectively. Covers budgets, contracts,
schedule planning, funding and other practical matters of
executing a film or video project. |
