Since 2002 Belladonna has
hosted a short film festival for emergent film makers each
July. The event is held over four nights in the Christchurch
Art Gallery Auditorium in New Zealand and features selected
works from across the country. All the key forms are represented;
dramatic fiction, comedy, documentary, animation and experimental. The first two nights of films are by New Zealanders, and
an international catagory has been added recently, URBIS
ANIMAX, which includes both international animation works
and short film works shown on the third and fourth night. A Wednesday night Montana Seminar with speak to the experimental film form.
Bookings begin late June through Ticketek, door sale will be offered, but no eftpos.
